We are pleased to announce the lineup for this year’s Lincoln Day Dinner to be held on August 12th at the Antlers Hotel in downtown Colorado Springs.
Our Master of Ceremonies will be Amy Oliver Cooke, Executive Vice President and Director of the Energy and Environmental Policy Center for the Independence Institute. Amy is currently serving on President Trump’s transition team for the Environmental Protection Agency, and has authored and contributed to numerous opinion editorials, issue papers, and issue backgrounders and has been published in the Daily Caller, Townhall, Denver Post, Pueblo Chieftain, Greeley Tribune, Denver Business Journal, Denver Daily News, Liberty Ink Journal, The Hill, and Wall Street Journal. She has appeared on Fox News, NPR, MSN.com, Devil’s Advocate, Colorado Inside Out, and Power Hour.
The evening’s Keynote Speaker will be New Mexico Governor, Susana Martinez. A lifelong Democrat turned Republican, TIME Magazine (in 2013) termed Governor Martinez as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the world. She was named Hispanic Business Magazine’s “Woman of the Year” in 2011, for her vigilant efforts to reduce the tax burden on New Mexicans, get the state’s fiscal house in order, and promote a friendlier business environment allowing employers to create jobs and hire New Mexico workers. As governor, Susana Martinez turned the largest structural deficit in state history into a surplus, all while protecting key priorities like classroom spending and basic health care for those most in need. All of this was accomplished without raising taxes.
We can hardly contain our excitement over having these two power-house, conservative leaders at our event. We look forward to you joining us!
We will miss you if you cannot make the dinner, and there are two more opportunities to meet Governor Martinez. Of course, we will host a VIP Event before the dinner. Tickets are limited to 40. Sign up soon!
The second opportunity to join the Governor is on Sunday with our Olympic Team from USA Shooting! Again, tickets for this event are limited.
